The origins of this castle for sale in Italy are ancient.
According to some papal manuscripts, the castle property was built around the V Century as a military post.
The highest tower, dating back to that age, is still undamaged, while the smallest one has been built
around 900, together with the boundary wall.
Two centuries later the round tower was constructed and around 1400 the rest of the building was completed.
A few km from Gubbio, in a dominating hilly position overlooking the whole valley, lies this lovely castle dating back to the Roman age and developed in the Middle age.
Purchased by a Canadian businessman in late 60s, the castle has not been lived in for several years. The property spans about 2,000 square meters, or
