 Recognized as one of the most beautiful borgos in Italy, Montone is a small town in the province of Perugia, immersed among the green rolling hills of the Upper Tiber Valley, 40 km from the region main town.
Its origins probably date back to the Middle Age, when the borgo had been built on a hilltop placed on the juncture of the rivers Tevere and Carpina.

Famous as the birthplace of the well-known leader Fortebraccio da Montone, the town has been ruled for a long time by the Marchesi del Monte first and the Vitelli then, to be finally included to the Papal state around 1500.

Only 8 km from this lovely place and half way between Montone and Pietralunga, we find this lovely farmhouse on a panoramic position, just 500 metres above the sea level, with beautiful view on the landscape of Tuscany, Umbria and Le Marche.
