Castello di Romena Loc. Romena, 12/A - Tel. 335/1220930 The castle was built around the year 1000 by the Conti Guidi. Of the numerous original towers only three are today visible. A visit to the small archeological museum and a
collection of arms, is worthwhile.

The monastic complex was built in the XII cent, by the Conti Guidi family. disabled The church, one of the most interesting in Casentino, was built towards the second half of the XII cent.. The interior, with a basilica form, is divided by three aisles and columns with capitals sculpted with leaves and human faces.
