Riserva Naturale Alpe della Luna
Brief Description: The Natural Reserve Alpe della Luna, which lies on the sides of Monte dei Frati and Monte Maggiore, north-east of Sansepolcro, extends for about 1503 hectares in the comuni of Badia Tedalda, Pieve Santo Stefano and
Sansepolcro.
It is made up of woods of beech tree, turkey oak, hop-hornbeam.
Among the bird species the pied woodpecker, the green woodpecker and the sparrowhawk can be found.
