Ortignano Raggiolo
The two towns were united after centuries of conflicing domination in 1873.

The territory is completely surrounded by chestnut forests. The agricultural and pastoral traditions of these two small villages are documented and can be found in the recently established Chestnut Museum (Museo della Castagna). Interesting to visit is the Pieve dei Santi Matteo e Margherita.

Public transport: From Arezzo by private train which links Arezzo-Pratovecchio-Stia to Bibbiena station then by bus. Coach from Florence.

How to get there: Autostrada A1 exit Arezzo and SS 71 as far as Bibbiena then the SP 64 for Ortignano Raggiolo; from Florence, the SS 70 via Passo della Consuma as far as Bibbiena and then SP 64 for Ortignano.
