Castiglion Fibocchi The village of Castiglion Fibocchi lies on the side of the Pratomagno, on the right of the Arno, along the road Setteponti. It was a feudal village of the Conti Guidi in the XI cent, then, like most of the Aretine territory, it was ruled by the Florentines. Noteworthy is the nearby Chiesa di San Pietro a Pezzano
which contains a fresco of an “Annunciazione” attributed to the Aretine Gothic painter Andrea di Nerio (XIV cent). A special event is the Carnevale dei Figli di Bocco, which is hosted in the historic centre, with masks and refined costumes.
