The old village with its tower houses the Centro di Documentazione della Cultura Rurale del
Casentino (the centre for the rural culture of the Casentino), which deals with the history of the local traditions. A few kilometres from the historic centre stands the Pieve di Sant’Antonino at Socana, one of the most interesting examples of Romanesque architecture. With its cylindrical bell-tower, it contains, in the apse, the remains of an important Etruscan sanctuary of the V cent BC and a sacrificial altar.
