Badia Tedalda The village lies on the border between Tuscany and the Marche, along the pilgrim road which monks, pilgrims and abbots took for centuries. The gentle landscape seems to
frame the resort from where walks or horse rides can start. The core of the village is the abbey church of San Michele Arcangelo which contains an enamelled terracotta altarpiece of the “ Madonna in Trono with Bambino e Santi” by Benedetto Buglioni. The Middle Ages comes back to life with the Palio dei Castelli, yearly in August.
