At 7.00 p.m. a solemn Procession wends its way through the narrow streets of the old town centre where ‘Tableau Vivant’ or Living Pictures are ‘performed’ representing Christmas scenes from the Old and New Testaments. At the head of the procession is the 14th century wooden statue of the Virgin Madonna di Loreto
